Houston Texas hosted the 2nd annual Women and Wine Weekend lead by founder Tiffany Michelle and a host of female leaders and influencers. The two-day conference was comprised of workshops on everything from financial literacy to entrepreneurship and business taxes to mental health and finally to love & relationships.

Married to Medicine’s Dr. Heavenly Kimes was a crowd favorite as always with her brand of no-nonsense common sense encouraging the women in attendance to make intentional choices with both their financial and their personal decisions. “Don’t ever let a man ruin your life. I see you young girls out here letting men mess up your lives and your credit. You have to put yourselves first,” Heavenly admonished.  Marketing and entrepreneur guru Mary Seats aka Skittles offered invaluable advice on monetizing social media and TikTok Mama reminded guests to focus on their passion when creating the social platforms. “I love my family and my life so my goal was just to maintain that, but I enjoy making people laugh,” she shared. Belle Collective’s Lateisha Pearson encouraged women to put their families first while pursuing their passion and purpose and shared how sharing her marital issues have helped other women struggling with similar situations. In addition to the wisdom from industry experts, the Women and Wine weekend welcomed small businesses from across the country as vendors and partners of the conference.

The Dear Alpha Female love & relationships panel focused on how career women can successfully navigate love & relationships lead by best-selling author Christal Jordan joined by Ready to Love’s Randall Scott (Miami), Symone Redwine (Houston) and relationship experts Terry Deron and Demi Austin-Thomas.

Founder Tiffany Michelle was pleased with the sophomore efforts for the weekend and says she looks forward to welcoming more businesses, women and wine enthusiasts for the upcoming Women and Wine weekend 2024. For more information follow @womenandwineweekend on Instagram.
