On the evening of March 14th, Midtown Atlanta was the place to be for the debut of Diva’s Night Out Private Dinner Series  at the stylish Belly Restaurant & Lounge, just a stone’s throw from the iconic Fox Theatre. The exclusive gathering was a night filled with elegance, celebration, and appreciation for the remarkable achievements of LaTocha, making it an unforgettable event.

The night kicked off with attendees indulging in delicious cuisine and exquisite cocktails, expertly crafted by the venue’s talented bartenders. With an ambiance of sophistication and joy, guests mingled while photographers and media set up to capture the night’s most memorable moments. The energy was electric as attendees posed in front of the beautiful flower wall backdrop, ensuring they had the perfect snapshots to commemorate the night.

As the excitement built, LaTocha’s grand arrival was met with the flash of cameras and resounding cheers from her supporters. Walking through the lounge, she personally greeted every guest, expressing her gratitude for their unwavering support. Her warmth and genuine appreciation set the tone for an evening that was all about honoring her journey and impact.

The event’s formal recognition segment began with a heartfelt word from Dr. Jeri Godhigh, Josie’s Girls, Connie Morrison, Electrifying Boutique, and Lenox & Parker editor-in-chief Christal Jordan. In a special moment, LaTocha was presented with a plaque celebrating her Lenox & Parker, March digital cover in honor of National Women’s History Month—a tribute to her legacy as an artist and influential figure in the industry.

The accolades didn’t stop there. Dr. Jeri Godhigh and Josie’s Girls awarded LaTocha the Pinnacle Award, a prestigious recognition of her contributions and influence. Additionally, Electrifying Boutique gifted her a custom-created piece, further commemorating the night with a meaningful, one-of-a-kind token.

As the night continued, DJ Nelledoesit curated an incredible musical tribute to LaTocha, weaving together highlights from both her solo career and iconic hits with Xscape. The carefully selected playlist brought nostalgia and celebration together, allowing guests to truly revel in the impact of LaTocha’s music and artistry.

The Diva’s Night Out Private Dinner Party was more than just a glamorous evening—it was a testament to LaTocha’s enduring influence and a celebration of her legacy. The combination of great food, fantastic music, heartfelt tributes, and a vibrant atmosphere made it a night to remember. As guests left the event, they carried with them memories of an extraordinary evening dedicated to honoring a woman whose talent and contributions continue to inspire.

Lenox & Parker is looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments of exemplary Black women every week with the Diva’s Night Out dinner series. Natural hair queen Taliah Waajid will be celebrated on Friday, March 21st as she prepares for the upcoming 25th Annual Natural Hair Show.
