International recording artist and multi-charting Billboard sensation Tanya Nolan lit up the stage for the second year in a row at Tiffany Haddish’s She Ready Foundation Gala, held Saturday, May 17 in Los Angeles.

With a vibrant Soul Train theme, the night brought out stars and supporters alike — including Snoop Dogg, who praised Nolan’s performance.

“I was grateful they actually requested me to come back,” Nolan shared. “It’s an incredible event that supports students and foster youth — and being part of something that gives back to the community is so important to me.”

Known for her powerful fusion of R&B, jazz, and gospel, Nolan delivered a dynamic full set inspired by iconic sounds of the ’70s and ’80s. She performed high-energy classics such as "Controversy" (Prince), "Shake Your Body Down to the Ground" (The Jacksons), "Boogie Oogie Oogie" (A Taste of Honey), "Conga" (Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine), "I Want Your Love" (Chic), "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" (Whitney Houston), and "C'Mon N' Ride It (The Train)" by Quad City DJ's — keeping the Soul Train vibes alive.

Tanya even surprised the crowd by hopping on the timbales during “Conga,” showcasing her musical versatility.

She also treated the audience to original fan favorites including “Pace Yourself,” “Good Woman,” and “Let’s Celebrate,” which she closed her set with — much to the crowd’s delight.

Nolan is the powerhouse voice behind multiple Billboard hits and has collaborated with industry legends like Raheem DeVaughn and CeeLo Green.

Her current single, “Like Water,” is charting at No. 16 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz charts, continuing her impressive cross-genre success.

She also recently released her first-ever gospel single, “Blessings,” which is already climbing the music charts.

On the red carpet, Tanya Nolan was pictured alongside Tiffany Haddish, the evening’s host and founder of the She Ready Foundation, and later connected with Snoop Dogg, who attended in support of the Foundation’s mission.

Snoop Dogg shared that he enjoyed Nolan’s performance, praising her ability to captivate and uplift the audience.

“I want to inspire people,” Nolan emphasized. “Whether it’s through my songs or my presence in the community, I want to make a difference. Music connects us in ways nothing else can.”

With more new music and creative projects on the horizon, Tanya Nolan is continuing her mission to move people — body, soul, and spirit — with every note she delivers.
