Acclaimed singer, songwriter, and Billboard-charting artist Tanya Nolan is entering a powerful new era in her music career with the release of her first-ever gospel single, “Blessings.” Click to listen.

The heartfelt track has officially been added to Get Up! Mornings With Erica Campbell, a nationally syndicated Radio One show, marking a major milestone for Nolan as she steps boldly into inspirational music.

Known for her soulful contributions to R&B, Nolan recently stopped by Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell to share the story behind this deeply personal record.

During the uplifting interview, she opened up about her spiritual journey, her lifelong love of gospel, and the divine inspiration behind “Blessings.”

Produced by KP of The Colleagues and Frank Rose, and mixed and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Darren “Lab Ox” Billy Jr., the single represents Nolan’s official crossover into gospel.

The track blends uplifting melodies with a message rooted in gratitude and unwavering faith.

“‘Blessings’ is a love letter to God,” Nolan shared. “It’s rooted in my deep faith and the gratitude I have for every blessing in my life.”

For Nolan, the song is more than a musical release, it’s a testimony.

Inspired in part by Numbers 6:24–26, a scripture that guides her daily walk, “Blessings” reflects the moments when God carried her through difficult seasons. “I poured God’s love, favor, and peace into this song,” she said sincerely.

Though she is widely recognized for her R&B artistry, gospel music has always been part of her foundation.

A proud Galveston, Texas native, Nolan explained that this chapter is a natural progression of her spiritual journey. “I’ve been in R&B for a good while—still in it,” she said. “But I was ready to go ahead and share my truth when it comes to gospel.”

During her interview, Nolan also paid homage to gospel trailblazers who shaped her musically and spiritually, including Erica Campbell, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Marvin Sapp, and Jonathan McReynolds. She recalled how Mary Mary’s hit “Go Get It” became a personal anthem for her, motivating her during challenging times.

“That message pushed me to go after what God had for me,” she reflected. “And that same spirit shows up in ‘Blessings.’”

With the single now reaching listeners across syndicated radio, Tanya Nolan hopes that “Blessings” will not only inspire but uplift every heart that hears it.

Nolan shared, “My biggest prayer is that the song touches someone’s life. I want people to feel encouraged and reminded of God’s presence.”
