Sadie Souliloquy: Poetry, Purpose & Power Moves
Mark your calendars. Three back-to-back drops from Sadie Souliloquy that are poised to shake the literary and music world. First Ā Blue Period, followed by her second mixtape Left On Rede, and finally the long-anticipated album Myrrhda She Wrote with Malik Yusef. Each release is a piece of her heart, layered with rhythm, rawness, and unapologetic truth.
But before all that, who exactly is Sadie Souliloquy?
āI go by Souliloquy,ā she says, āIām a songwriter, actress, aspiring modelābut poetry? Thatās the core Ā of everything I do.ā Influenced heavily by 80s and 90s R&B legends like Mint Condition, Keith Sweat, Jodeci, and Lauryn Hill, Sadie carves out her own lane as what she calls an R&B poet. āLove and positivity are my anchors. Some of my work is sexy, sureābut always sensual, always intentional. I truly believe love will always win.ā
Healing, Hustle, and Holistics
Sadie isnāt just about the stage and the pen. Sheās also a businesswoman who turned a personal health Ā journey into purpose. āI stopped taking medications in November 2024 and started getting serious about my Ā healthāvitamins, sea moss, holistic routines. I had more energy, less mood swings... I felt like me Ā again.ā
That transformation led her to invest in ReBundle, a non-toxic, woman-founded brand for textured hair extensions. āItās not synthetic or fake like the competitionāitās real, itās healthy, and I believe in it.ā
Then thereās Bawdi High, her second ventureāplant-based, herbal wellness products aimed at easing Ā anxiety, migraines, and pain. āItās about returning to healing each other. Safe, clean, and effective. No Ā harsh chemicals. Just nature doing what it does best.ā
A Pen Fueled by Pain & Purpose
Sadie didnāt start on stage. In fact, she stayed off it for two and a half years. Her first work came in the Ā form of booksāeight published to date, with topics ranging from addiction to identity.
āIt started after a breakup,ā she recalls. āI couldnāt express what I was feeling, so I just wrote and wrote until the pain made sense on paper. Then one night, I cried on stage while telling my story to strangers. Ā I never looked back.ā
Among her books, Poetry Saved My Life holds a special place. āThe choices I was making were hurting me in ways I couldnāt even describe. That book helped me take control.ā
She also cites Verified: Break Free from the Never-Ending Search for Validation as deeply personal. Ā āWeāre so addicted to likes, so quick to delete things that donāt get engagement. I wanted to remind Ā peopleāand myselfāthat who we are offline matters more than any algorithm.ā
Blue Period & āMy Kryptoniteā
Her upcoming project Blue Period is out, and one track stands out above the rest: āMy Ā Kryptonite.ā
āItās about how we sabotage relationships when we donāt speak our truth. Itās about avoiding Ā accountability. We create our own suffering sometimesābut if you take ownership, you can change Ā your story. You can flourish.ā
For the Soul, For the Streets
Whether sheās performing live or playing through your headphones, Sadieās goal is the same: to heal.
āMy music is for the soul. Play it when youāre cleaning the house, taking a bath, or on a drive with a Ā friend. Itās a different movementāblending R&B, soul, and poetry to help people love themselves more. Itās sensual, itās deep, and itās real. I know youāll feel it.ā
From D1 Diamond to Center Stage
A former D1 softball champion, Sadie still carries that athleteās grind into her artistry. āYou need a Ā team behind you. That mindset of wanting to win, to perform, to growāit never left. I applied that Ā same drive to becoming a headliner, organizing my own shows, and leading with heart. You donāt give Ā up just because you lost one game. You show up again, better.ā
Dream Collab?
Without hesitation: Keith Sweat. āIāve seen him so many times. The energy, the emotion, the Ā showmanshipāit shaped me. Having him on a track would be surreal.ā
Sadie Souliloquy isnāt just writing poetryāsheās living it. And starting NOW, sheās inviting the Ā world to feel it with her.
With Blue Period, Left On Rede, and Myrrhda She Wrote, sheās not just dropping projectsāsheās Ā building a legacy. One rooted in vulnerability, sensuality, and self-reclamation.
