TelevisaUnivision continues to raise the stakes for Latin music’s most visible awards platform, unveiling a new wave of performers set to take the stage at Premio Lo Nuestro 2026. With its 38th edition, the long-running ceremony once again positions itself as both a celebration of legacy and a showcase for where Latin music is headed next.

The show will air live in the United States on Thursday, February 19, at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT across Univision, UNIMÁS, and Galavisión, with streaming available on ViX throughout most of Latin America. The ceremony will originate from Miami’s Kaseya Center, reinforcing the city’s role as a cultural crossroads for global Latin music.
Leading the newly announced performers is Carlos Vives, who returns to the Premio Lo Nuestro stage with the television premiere of his highly anticipated new single, “Te Dedico.” The Colombian icon enters the night with three nominations, including Artist of the Year – Tropical, and adds to a career that already includes ten Premio Lo Nuestro wins and the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia.
A major headline moment comes from Marc Anthony, who will deliver the global television premiere of “Como en el Idilio” in a first-ever onstage collaboration with Nathy Peluso. The performance marks Anthony’s first original salsa duet with a female vocalist in more than 30 years, arriving just days before he launches his first Las Vegas residency at Fontainebleau on February 13. Anthony leads this group of newly announced performers with five nominations and remains one of the show’s most decorated artists, with 29 Premio Lo Nuestro wins to date.

Rising Argentine powerhouse María Becerra will make her Premio Lo Nuestro debut, performing “Hace Calor” from her latest album Quimera, signaling the ceremony’s continued investment in the next generation of global Latin pop voices.
Four-time nominee Sebastián Yatra is set to debut “Canción para Regresar” on television alongside Cuban duo Gente de Zona, six-time Premio Lo Nuestro winners who return this year with two nominations. The collaboration underscores the ceremony’s emphasis on cross-regional partnerships that bridge pop, tropical, and urban traditions.

Urban producer and artist Gangsta will also make his Premio Lo Nuestro debut with the television premiere of the global hit “La Villa,” joined by Ryan Castro and Kapo. Meanwhile, Italian DJ and producer KYBBA brings his genre-blending sound to the stage with the premiere of “Ba Ba Bad Remix,” also featuring Castro.

The night will also include a special tribute honoring Paloma San Basilio, recipient of the Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia. Sofía Reyes will perform “Beso a beso… dulcemente,” while Yami Safdie interprets “Luna de Miel.” Safdie enters the ceremony with two nominations of her own.
These artists join a previously announced roster that includes Carín León, Gloria Trevi, Maluma, Thalia, Ha*Ash, Kany García, and Xavi, among others.
With its 2026 lineup, Premio Lo Nuestro continues to balance heritage and momentum—honoring legends while amplifying emerging voices—cementing its role as a defining barometer for the present and future of Latin music on a global stage.
