Atlanta rolled out the red carpet Sunday evening, September 28, 2025, as serial entrepreneur and MTV’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Karlie Redd celebrated the highly anticipated grand opening of her bold new lounge and dining concept, Redd Room Bistro. Located at 255 Trinity Avenue in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, the restaurant marks a new chapter in Redd’s ever-evolving career as she officially steps into the role of restaurateur.

The event was nothing short of a spectacle, befitting the dynamic personality of its founder. Guests, dressed in their finest attire, were greeted with an electrifying performance by the Jonesboro High School Majestic Marching Cardinals, whose drumline announced Karlie’s arrival. She entered alongside her daughter, Jasmine Ellis, beaming with pride as cameras flashed and applause erupted. The evening then shifted to a moment of spiritual reflection, as Pastor Stephanie Jennings of Harvest Tabernacle Church delivered a moving prayer that brought many to tears. State Representative Eric Bell II followed with heartfelt remarks, praising Karlie for her commitment to revitalizing Downtown Atlanta and creating new job opportunities through her latest venture.

Over 100 guests filled the chic new space, a mix of Atlanta’s elite and close supporters. The guest list was a who’s who of culture, music, and entrepreneurship: Grammy-nominated artist and fellow Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Spice made a surprise appearance to support her longtime friend, delivering a celebratory toast that had the room erupting with cheers. Beauty mogul Cliff Vmir, viral influencer Big Sexy, Fox 5 host Portia Burner, entrepreneur K. Botchy, culinary creator Jaaion Barnes, restaurateur Ebony Austin, recording artist International Nova and his wife Cristina Nova, were among those who came out to celebrate Karlie’s milestone.

The evening seamlessly blended entertainment with culinary indulgence. DJ Pancake kept the crowd moving with an energetic set while guests sampled signature offerings from Executive Chef Teddy Lopez. Standout dishes included Velvet Vixen Chicken and Waffles, Red Room’s Hot Honey Signature Wings, salmon bites, and smash burgers—all paired with handcrafted cocktails like the Superman and Karlie’s Red Hot Martini.

For Karlie, Redd Room Bistro is more than a restaurant—it is a personal tribute. Inspired by her father and late stepmother, who owned a successful restaurant for decades, she shared her vision of creating a space that honors her family’s legacy while delivering a one-of-a-kind dining and lounge experience. The venue, designed in collaboration with restaurateur and designer Ty Young, embodies a sultry red aesthetic, bold décor, and a sophisticated lounge vibe.

With its upscale ambiance and elevated hospitality, Redd Room Bistro is positioned to become one of Atlanta’s hottest new destinations. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 PM to 2 AM and Sundays until midnight, the bistro is perfect for date nights, celebratory dinners, or late-night gatherings. Judging by the energy of its grand opening, Karlie Redd’s newest venture is not only here to stay—it’s destined to thrive.
