A new face in the high fashion and entertainment industry is model/influencer Karisa (IG - Karisa.ccc), as she, at the age of only twenty, has done some remarkable things while battling depression and anxiety. From multiple Nick Cannon's hit show WildNOut appearances to participating in the NAM and Teen New York Pageant, Karisa has already found success few people in her field can ever find in their careers. Along with many other activities and future career milestones to set, you would think Karisa's life has been easy; unfortunately, it is not, but it's what inspires her to achieve a platform.

At one point in her life, she attempted suicide due to many things at that moment going wrong, and Karisa didn't know how to cope with her issues. Thankfully she is still alive today and prospering to the point that she is building awareness of her name so that she can one day go out and speak to people about the importance of mental health positivity.

Karisa wants to be the voice for those who are hiding pain, and by using the attention she garners from her image and the gifts naturally granted to her, she continues striving toward greatness. We encourage her to keep pursuing her dreams so that she may continue to heal along with healing others.
