Roberts has a dark secret at the heart of her psychological drama, After The Hunt (Amazon),which co-stars Ayo Edeiri as the student who triggers Roberts’ character.  While Marlon Wayan, in a dark departure from his comedy roots, is the psycho in Peele’s mind-pounding horror, HIM (Universal),  set available only in theaters.

Kicking off what is sure to be a killer Fall movie season, After The Hunt and HIM are led by veteran actors with loyal following, and the right mix of rising-stars to entice viewers.

AFTER THE HUNT is a gripping psychological drama about a college professor (Julia Roberts) who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star student (Ayo Edebiri) levels an accusation against one of her colleagues (Andrew Garfield), and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come into the light. AFTER THE HUNT is written by Nora Garrett.

The feature is set for release September 10 on AMAZON.

HIM stars former college wide-receiver Tyriq Withers (Atlanta, the upcoming I Know What You Did Last Summer) as Cameron Cade, a rising-star quarterback who has devoted his life, and identity, to football. On the eve of professional football’s annual scouting Combine, Cam is attacked by an unhinged fan and suffers a potentially career-ending brain trauma.  Just when all seems lost, Cam receives a lifeline when his hero, Isaiah White (Marlon Wayans; Scary Movie, Haunted House, Wayans Brothers), a legendary eight-time Championship quarterback and cultural megastar, offers to train Cam at Isaiah’s isolated compound that he shares with his celebrity influencer wife, Elsie White (Julia Fox; Uncut Gems, No Sudden Move). But as Cam’s training accelerates, Isaiah’s charisma begins to curdle into something darker, sending his protégé down a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost him more than he ever bargained for.

The feature is set for release September 19 in theaters.
