Following sold out shows in Europe, earning 400K+ streams via Spotify, and most recently an intimate performance in her hometown of Washington, D.C. at Songbyrd Music House, IOTheSinger (formerly known as AYO) releases a new self-written single titled "Tomorrow."

The DMV native enlisted Chris Fisher to handle the keys while Austin Stahle manned guitar; Jon Laine took care of drums, Jean-Francis Varre controlled the bass and Frank Marchand was responsible for mixing/recording the record. Taken off the Howard University alumnae's forthcoming Pop Rock LP IO, the chorus anchors the song with affirming lyrics "Today is the tomorrow of yesterday, Donโ€™t be afraid, itโ€™s worked out before. Today is the tomorrow of yesterday, so choose to stay. Cause it's the only one youโ€™ll ever get."

"According to the World Health Organization, anxiety and depression has increased by an overwhelming 25%. As an artist, as someone who has struggled intimately with anxiety and as a former teacher whose students, colleagues and friends also struggled, Tomorrow is my way of helping myself and others feel seen," IO details in a press statement to Medium Creative Agency about her latest leak.
