After going through a heart break and left with no closure Envy N was inspired to write and produce her new single “Cupid Shuffle”. She wrote it a year before she released and recorded the song. Many wonder why is it called “Cupid Shuffle” because the song reminds you of those uncomfortable feelings when it’s time to let go and move on. Accepting that it’s okay to not leave on bad terms. Wanting that last memory to be unforgettable. Knowing that No closure is sometimes Closure. Not only was the song inspired by Cupid’s “Cupid Shuffle” but also musicians Yung Bleu “miss it” Beyoncé’s “irreplaceable” Luther Vandross “Dance with my father” and Rapper Plies “One More Time”.
