Legendary R&B singer Howard Hewett made a special appearance at the red carpet premiere of the highly anticipated BET+ original movie, Never Alone for Christmas: Memphis, held in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The film cast by Natasha Ward features a heartwarming holiday story set in the vibrant city of Memphis.

Starring Juhahn Jones, K. Michelle, Melissa L. Williams, and Tom Arnold, the movie tells the tale of a dating coach and a blues singer who are alone for Christmas but discover love, healing, and the joy of connection through friendship and holiday magic.

Ward, known for her authentic approach to storytelling, infused the movie with genuine Memphis culture, casting local talent including 8Ball & MJG and Slimeroni to bring a signature “Memphis flavor” to the screen.

Never Alone for Christmas: Memphis is part two of a popular franchise and premiered exclusively on BET+ on December 11, 2025.

The film is now streaming on BET+, combining romance, music, and the warmth of the holiday season while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Memphis.
