The Bay Area has always been noted for developing a sound of its own that went on to become a real staple within Hip-Hop culture., and neww age artists like The Bay’s very own Gwalla Boi Slim aim to continue that legacy with their contributions to the music.

Coming out of Menlo Park, CA, Gwalla began his musical journey at the early age of 15 years old. His influence in the way he approaches his music stems from the likes of legendary rappers like Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, & even Lil Wayne. Their unique come up stories inspired Gwalla to use his gift to make his way out of poverty and take the necessary steps into entrepreneurship.

Throughout his growing career,  Gwalla has opened for Young Dro, and collaborated with the likes of Mistah FAB,  Montana of 300, & OMB Beezy. His latest released single ‘Drop It Low’ received an enormous amount of success and today, he follows up with his new album for the Summer titled ‘Y’all Sleep’.
