Honestly, at first listen Solange's "Binz" sounds like a demo track. No effort, or special attention placed on the production or visuals. Her vocals are mediocre at best- based on past industry standards, not even Diddy in his Badboy days would have accepted this from Mary J Blige or Faith Evans, but I guess it's different times now -Artist control.

As we get back to the roots of creativity and the pure essence of storytelling through song. As we remove all the glitz and glamour of the music industry's spell of convincing and brainwashing the artist into accepting for the last 15yrs, - Just to sell more products.  We see glimpse of hope, with artist like Solange. Now you'll hear more and more songs like this intro/intelud-ish style track with your favorite artist.

Using an FDA style description token it simple, I would say this song and video is organic, grass fed, produced without antibiotics or hormones and is free-range. With that said "Binz" doesn't taste like your typical USDA quality grade song and to be honest, it's refreshing. Under 120 seconds, Solange is the epitome of unbothered and I love it.
