Maryland musician hYYdn returns with "Clean" after releasing "Fall On Us" back in July. Produced by GRAMMY-nominated instrumentalist Chibu alongside Felmax, the new drop draws inspiration from Hezekiah Walker's "Clean Inside."

Set to live on his forthcoming Snakes And Ladders project via BigTyme Music Group / EMPIRE, the Hip-Hop interpolation of the classic Gospel track is sure to turn heads from the project steps to the pulpit.

In a press statement to Medium Creative Agency, the rising rapper/singer reveals:

ā€œWhen I was working on this record, I imagined an individual who is pristine physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was thinking, how can I make a song that boasts about being rich in God’s eyes, without focusing on foreign cars, fashion labels, buss-down jewelry, or anything materialistic?ā€

hYYdn is a DMV-based vocalist known for his faith-inspired music. Describing his songwriting style as spontaneous, he creates joyful and energetic hip-hop-leaning anthems while striving to avoid being boxed in.

A genre-fluid storyteller, his spiritual depth and compelling lyricism are encouraged by the positive reception from fans. Following 2023's Rest Stop EP, in 2024, he dropped just one solo single titled "Thiirst."
